Love Locks and surfer

This shot was taken from a brigde in Munich. And yes, this black thing in the back is a surfer. Some of you might wonder how surfing is possible in a city where the closest ocean/sea is about 400 km away. A standing wave in a river makes it possible. Munich is actually a quite famous surfing spot.

About this love locks I found this on wikipedia:
A love lock or love padlock is a padlock which sweethearts lock to a bridge, fence, gate, or similar public fixture to symbolize their love. Typically the sweethearts’ names or initials are inscribed on the padlock, and its key is thrown away to symbolise unbreakable love.

Christmas Decoration in Munich

I didn’t had any time to take a picture today, that’s why I’m posting a picture I took last year in December in Munich. This is one of the most beautiful streets, especially with the Christmas Streetlight decorations.

Moving Tree

While I had a few minutes to spare between two appointments I came across this Piaggio Ape (a three-wheeled light commercial vehicle) with a tree planted on the truck bed. Looked so cute.

On the tree were still some leaves and red berries.

Munich is prepairing for the Holiday season, the first angels are coming to town.

It’s not an UFO

When I left the office of my tax accountant today I heard a helicopter first and a few seconds later I saw it. It was a police helicopter with the searchlight on. Since I had no tripod with me I used a container for glass recycling to hold the camera as steady as possible.
I have no idea what was going on there.
