Burning toilet paper

I made some toilet paper torches today out of old candles and toilet paper rolls. Burned beautifully.

Light Painting

In Germany we have old drawing game for small children where you have to draw “The house of the Nikolaus” without lifting the pencil or repeating a line.
I played around with it a little and added a Christmas treeas well.

Golden Tower

Today at sunset the sun painted this usually beige tower in a wonderful golden tone. Hope the shot shows it a little.
It looks so stunning.

Glass Sphere

When I took the picture of this glass sphere I was disappointed how it look on my small camera screen. Luckily I didn’t deleted it right away and turned out it looks pretty interesting.

Christmas Decoration in Munich

I didn’t had any time to take a picture today, that’s why I’m posting a picture I took last year in December in Munich. This is one of the most beautiful streets, especially with the Christmas Streetlight decorations.

Trees, fog and light

I drove home at night and it started to get really foggy and I found those illuminated trees.

Town Musicians of Bremen

Today started the annual ethnic-cultural tent festival and this years them is “ethical husbandry combined with art”. And there is a sculpture of the Town Musicians of Bremen, with a cow, pig, sheep and chicken.
Again I had no tripod with me … I’m starting to wonder why I bought one

Lights

My first test run how the Bokeh is working on the 50 mm lens. Not the best motive, still I’m happy with how the lights turned out. Christmas time is a perfect season to play and test the Bokeh.

Yellow Orange Red Black

This weird looking thing is my old lava lamp. Since it was again a grey rainy day I turn on the lava lamp for the first time in years and instead of bubbles I got this.
